Finding Home

Welcome to Harvest Home Sanctuary's Rescue & Adoption Bulletin Board for Unwanted Animals. We receive many public inquiries each week to provide sanctuary for animals in need. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a home for each and every animal. This online bulletin board is a resource for finding animals loving homes. To request a posting for an animal in need, email Rescue@HarvestHomeAnimal.org.

Former stray cat is searching for a safe place to call home (Stockton, California)

An animal lover found “Kitty” on a levee in Stockton on February 15 while she was out walking her cat on a leash - Kitty was starving and followed her big cat Simba home.  Unfortunately, the animal lover cannot keep Kitty, but decided to foster her instead of taking her to the animal shelter, and hopes to find a loving home for her quickly!  Kitty is quite smart and is very loving and playful - there won’t be a boring moment with her!

Kitty is a darling Tortie cat with lovely rings on her tail, and is a petite 7 pounds.  She loves to come over and visit people when they are sitting on the sofa, and soaks up attention!  She is playful and would love to have someone to wave a wand toy for her.  She likes high places, so she would really like a cat tree in her new home.  She likes to sit in front of the computer screen and follow the typing and the “mouse”!  Kitty is very friendly and would be a great family cat.

Kitty has been spayed, tested for leukemia (negative), and given vaccinations for rabies and Feline 4 in 1 (including leukemia vaccine), and received dewormer.  She does not have fleas, but got a preventative flea treatment of Frontline on February 18.  She healed beautifully from her spay, and had her vaccine booster on March 9, 2012.  The vet thinks Kitty is about 10 months old.  The woman who found Kitty will pay for her microchip for the new adopter!
