Welcome to Harvest Home Sanctuary's Rescue & Adoption Bulletin Board for Unwanted Animals. We receive many public inquiries each week to provide sanctuary for animals in need. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a home for each and every animal. This online bulletin board is a resource for finding animals loving homes. Adopted! Abandoned special-needs goose needs a new pond to call her own (Marin/Oakland, Calif.)

Ms. Goose is hoping for a miracle this week. Read Ms. Goose’s rescue story from our friends at United for Animals:

“She’s a Greylag goose (a domestic breed). We rescued her from Lake Merritt yesterday, where she was likely dumped by her former ‘owner’. She has a severe case of bumblefoot and is currently at WildCare where they are trying to keep her relatively comfortable, but she needs a new home and proper treatment ASAP. If you or anyone you know could take in this super sweet and affectionate girl, please contact vegancookiemonster@me.com or WildCare at 415-456-7283. Please spread the word! I’m happy to provide transport from WildCare to her new home.”
